Here's a way to chase away those winter blues--head to Scottville for the Blizzard Blast! All kinds of events are planned...guaranteed to be fun for the entire family.

Pancake Breakfast, 8:30am-10:30am, Scottville Area Senior Center.
Quilt Show, 11am-4pm, Scottville Area Senior Center.
Chili Cook-Off, 11:30am-2:30pm, Scottville Area Senior Center.
Ice Sculpting, 9am-2pm, by Chef Stephanie from Little River Casino Resort.
Living Windows by Peppermint Patty Playhouse & MCC Drama Club, 11am-2pm.
Snowman Building Contest, 9am-2pm.
Free Pony Rides, 11am-2pm.
Craft session at Business Print, wagon rides, turkey bowling, family sled racing, hot chocolate and hot dog sales, conservation exhibit, and other games, 11am-2pm.
4-H Craft Fair, 11am-2pm, Carr Communications Building.
Snowball Drop, 1:30pm...featuring many prize giveaways. Children 5-12 years only.
Blizzard Bingo, 2pm-8pm, Scottville Optimist Hall.
Demolition Derby, 3pm, Riverside Park.

The Snowball Drop will feature prizes for a variety of discounts, movie passes, ice cream cones, money, and a large prize package to Best Western Splash Park Inn. Scottville Harvest Festival Queen and Scottville firefighters will be part of the event, helping drop the snowballs.
